Darci Jens Fulcher (she/they)

Darci Fulcher is an intimacy coordinator, professor and movement coach who has dedicated her career to promoting safety, consent, and guidance in the entertainment industry. With extensive experience in physical theatre, movement direction, and intimacy coordination, Darci has become a leading expert in her field, working with performers, directors, and producers to create a culture of respect and professionalism on set and stage.

 After completing her education, Darci began working as a physical theatre artist and educator, performing nationally with companies like Epic Theatre Ensemble, BODYART, and Goat in the Road Productions. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Theatre at several institutions, including Tulane University, Dillary University, and The University of Kansas.

In recent years, Darci has become a well known expert in the field of intimacy coordination, a role that has emerged in response to the #MeToo movement and increased awareness around issues of consent and boundaries on set and stage. As an intimacy coordinator, Darci works closely with performers, directors, and producers to ensure that scenes involving physical intimacy, nudity, or other sensitive content are handled with care and respect. She helps to establish clear communication between actors and works to create a safe and supportive environment for all involved.
